Oscars 2026: Vishal Jethwa Comments About Homebound Getting Shortlisted_我的网站

A |     (ECNS) -- Shenzhen Customs signed its first sister-port cooperation memorandum Thursday with Valparaíso Customs of Chile, under the APEC China Year 2026 framework.    The agreement expands the China-Chile Smart Customs partnership through information sharing and enforcement coordination. Areas of cooperation include mutual recognition of Authorized Economic Operator status, clearance efficiency, enterprise credit, anti-smuggling and IP protection.    Pan Chuxiong, deputy director of Shenzhen Customs, said Shenzhen maintains close economic and trade ties with Chile, with three direct shipping routes to major Chilean ports each week. In the first seven months of this year, trade between Shenzhen port and Chile reached 21.96 billion yuan (about $3.06 billion). More than 40% of Chile's cherry imports to China enter through Shenzhen.    "The cooperation with Valparaíso Customs will further enhance cross-border trade facilitation and create new opportunities for bilateral trade in high-quality goods," Pan said.        (By Tang Yuxian)                    。    Vishal Jethwa has expressed immense happiness and excitement as Homebound, produced by Dharma Productions (Dharma Movies), has now progressed one step closer for a possible nomination nod for the Best International Feature Film at the 98th Academy Awards. The shortlist is the final step where amongst all the films submitted for the Oscars for the category, 15 films advance to the voting stage. This inches Homebound closer to a possible nomination nod when the nominations are announced on January 22, 2026.          Sharing his heartfelt reaction, Vishal Jethwa said, "This moment feels surreal and incredibly humbling. To see Homebound being shortlisted and progressing towards the Oscars is something I could have only dreamed of. I am deeply grateful for the love and support the film has received from audiences around the world. I want to sincerely thank Karan Johar sir for believing in this story and in us as artistes. His vision and backing gave Homebound the wings it needed."Vishal also spoke about director Neeraj Ghaywan.
